Overview

Many women in the Mbororo and other vulnerable communities lack stable and reliable incomes. This was a one (1) day training workshop were 50 indigenous Mbororo women were trained on liquid soap production, book keeping and sexual reproductive health. The activity provided vocational training and start-up capital to enable the 50 women establish their own liquid soap which is a high-demand product and can provide a sustainable livelihood for these women.

Goal:
To provide comprehensive training to 50 women on liquid soap formulation, production, packaging, and small business management.
To offer start-up grants and tools/equipment to help the 50 women establish their own liquid soap enterprises.
Target:

50 indigenous Mbororo women

Expected Outcomes:
50 women successfully complete the liquid soap production training program.
All 50 women launch their own small-scale liquid soap businesses within 6 months of the training.
The liquid soap enterprises have a positive multiplier effect on the local economy and contribute to women's economic empowerment in the community.
